Hey I am Chantelle,
I am a freelance pattern designer, fashion designer, online clothes retailer, and business coach. I am a London based womenswear designer graduated from University for the creative arts with a degree in BA (Hons) Fashion. I am inspired by travel, photography, fine art and trends. Most of my print designs are hand drawn or photography based. My main skills are design research, Textile design and pattern cutting.

May 2015: Graduated From University For The Creative Arts with BA Fashion
April 2014: I worked as a textile and print designer at Mother of Pearl I gained experience with print placement using Photoshop and developed my print design skills. The skills I used the most were research and design. The new skills I learned were print placement on Photoshop, team work, online research for customer profile and print development. My main strength was meeting deadlines, punctuality and completing tasks. I made a positive contribution to the company with the work I completed.
May 2014: I also worked as an seamstress assistant intern at Sarah Baadarani where I sewed toiles and helped with hand beading for the collection shown at Paris fashion week. Therefore I developed skills in hand beading and garment construction.
July 2010: I worked as a textile print designer at Mirjam Rouden textile design studio. During this time I gained experience in screen printing with dye on silks, drawing floral prints then transferring this to CAD and creating repeat pattern designs for fabric prints that were sold for profit
